Call #1: Annual IT Conference Call (All ITs)

This is the main annual gathering for all Instructor Trainers. Join us for key updates, policy reminders, and clarifications to procedures that support your role as a leader within Paddle Canada.

We are pleased to welcome a guest speaker from ITP Sport, who will lead a discussion on our shared responsibility in creating and maintaining a safe sport environment for instructors and course participants alike.

A safe sport culture depends on shared accountability. Athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, and volunteers all play a role by acting respectfully, recognizing and responding to concerning behaviour, following policies and codes of conduct, and reporting misconduct when required. This conversation will help strengthen our collective understanding of what safe, appropriate behaviour looks like in practice.

Hosted by the Canoe Development Program Committee, this call will focus exclusively on the new Basic Level recently added to the Lake and Moving Water programs.
